Our Philosophy

WE CAN HELP!

Is your mind preoccupied with increasing thoughts about food, weight and body image? Have you been on every trendy diet and do not know what else to do? Are you going through a difficult time in your life and using food to cope with your struggles? Have you noticed changes in your adolescent’s eating patterns or has your teen cut out foods and is now obsessing over what “can” and “cannot” be eaten?  Have you been diagnosed with a medical condition and do not know what to eat now?

WE CAN HELP!
Our dietitians provide non-judgmental, compassionate nutrition counseling. We use evidenced based principles, individualized assessments, and collaborative care to lead people to make the behavior changes that are best for them. We want to help people learn to enjoy eating again, and to find pleasure, not guilt or shame, in food.   Our dietitians specialize and/or have expertise in different medical and mental health conditions.  We offer a space that is safe and free of judgment.  We will listen to your concerns and needs, and create an individualized plan for you.  We will educate you and provide the nutrition therapy that is needed.  We will walk with you as you heal your relationship with food and body and take control of your life.

We utilize a non diet approach, Health At Every Size (HAES) approach.  We welcome people of all sizes, shapes, nationalities, genders, and ages.  We are here to help; not to judge, condemn, or criticize.
